I hold an Hon. B.Sc. in Molecular Biology and Genetics. My Ph.D. focused on genetics of schizophrenia. Over the past decade, I used stem cell biology and tissue differentiation to study pathology of Parkinson’s disease. Specifically, I generated midbrain dopaminergic neurons to investigate neurodegenerative changes associated with this disease. In parallel, I studied striatal neurodevelopment and its alteration in the context of schizophrenia pathology.
