Sep 5 at 0:23 comment added souraj ghosh How do I know if the journal has a preprint policy or not. I did signed their terms and condition but since it was long time ago, I dont remember those. I have to try and see if I can find them. @user2705196
Sep 5 at 0:21 comment added souraj ghosh @Buffy no the journal may or may not open access but my article is surely not. iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1209/0295-5075/130/38004/pdf That's the article. And without any institute network, I cant read it.

Sep 4 at 14:36 comment added user2705196 What has your prior research shown? Does the journal have a preprint policy?
Sep 4 at 14:27 comment added Anyon @Buffy I don't know what percentage of IOP journals are only open-access, but many are hybrid open-access, where authors can choose to publish as a subscription article or pay for open access. EPL is one example.
Sep 4 at 14:19 comment added Buffy @Anyon, many, maybe all IOP journals seem to be open-access. Hence my answer deletion.
Sep 4 at 14:14 comment added Anyon @Buffy I would assume not, given "uploading it in arxive will make it accesible even for normal people without any institution access".
