I thought about the fact that the distribution is not normal before, but with the mistaken notion of IF it wasn't really helpful. Well, actually, my first paper was only published in 2017. My believe was that citations mainly come in the first few years, and older papers only seem to have many citations because of survivorship bias (but it seems I was wrong). Let me quickly accept your answer to stop the downvotes :p | |
