In my master program, there is a so called Research Project worth 20 credits. This is done before the Master Thesis.

Not all the publisher website provide "reuse for technical report" option for using their pictures and tables when we want to ask for the permission.

IEEE have "reuse for report" but I found it that I need to pay for reusing the picture.

Should I just use "reuse for thesis/dissertation" option? Or is there any more correct or better option for this usage?

What kind of citing permission do I need for a research project (not a master thesis) report that I am writing?
