The Can future works issections be similar to listed one in publisheddifferent papers.?

In mixture models (statistic) we can fix the mixture components or estimates them.

There is a nice paper in the area of the mixture model. The A simple analysis method used in the paper was applied to a simple part of one of a specific topicproposed in my area of study. However, there is an extension method which is much more complicated than the simple one used in thealready-published paper. I extend the simple method introduced in the paper to itsam working on a more complicated version of the same method. The future works section of the published paper that I basedand my work on is extending the method from fixed mixture to estimated version. My future work isworks section have the same goal. I wonder if that is Ok or notIs it acceptable for both papers to have similar future works goals?
