I am a Mexican researcher from the south of Mexico (Oaxaca) in his third year as postdoc in France. Since my B.Sc’s degree I have been working with Biotechnological alternatives for production of energy (i.e.: Hydrogen).
Furthermore, since my M.Sc’s degree in Mexico City I have been conducting research on Microbial fuel cells for direct electricity production from organic liquid wastes, a type of Microbial electrochemistry Technology (MET).
For my Ph.D. degree I moved to Germany where I conducted research on microbial electron transfer mechanisms between pure/mixed culture electroactive biofilms and electrodes.
Currently, I conduct research on microbial electrosynthesis of added value molecules, a novel biotechnological approach to reduce organic waste into molecules of industrial interest.
