All things evolve based on the quality of ideas that are selected and propagated out of a multitude generated.
Good quality = closer to the 'actual' underlying reality we're trying to understand and interact with.
Separating the wheat from the chaff is the role of [science + philosophy] - one cannot exist without the other.
This seems to be a forum where this is the aim, where it's the Quality of the Argument, not Who says it, Whom it agrees with or challenges, that matters.
The social component which dominantly selects poor quality information in human interactions with disastrous results - on an unprecedented scale today - seems to be refreshingly downgraded here.
