I am a college undergraduate student. I am a junior and majoring in biochemistry. After I obtain a bachelors in biochemistry, I will continue to graduate school to earn a PhD. I am becoming a biomedical gerontologist. I say it that way because I will be conducting research next semester, which will involve the creation of simulations and/or computer-generated models. Furthermore, it is very likely that I will be researching progerin, a mutated form of lamin-A, which is responsible for a variety of diseases such as progeria, as well as is a contributor to the aging process.
