I am planning to carry out a research on a topic (for master by research). Googling, I found that a mirco-research in similar topic (some objectives matching) has been done by somebody as a part of coursework master’s thesis (project) work. But there is nothing online except some initial pages of thesis (as a blog post in personal blogspot website) so I am unable to read whole thesis and make full idea what has been done. Off course there is no any academic publishing and It looks like around 14000 words research +thesis done in around 4 months with a small sample size for coursework thesis. Moreover, it seems to be in different field (department-faculty) of studies.

From the available pages it looks like research has tried to touch most of the things but at a very surface level.3 pages of data analysis and 1 page of findings also put doubt over in depth analysis (Well it can be but looks insufficient considering the issue).

I am writing a research proposal and really confused how I should include it. Especially in previous works, do I need to validate or justify each of my objectives against its objectives? (or show the difference)

I am thinking of expanding the scope, objectives of research and planning to use different data analysis methods. What should I do? Any suggestions?
