I mentioned an in-progress paper in my statement of purpose when I applied to several computer science PhD programs. Since then, I submitted the paper to ACL and received draft review scores (4/5/3), which are promising. Is it possible to update the schools I applied to with this information? I've seen some suggestions that sharing the paper itself is ok, but would that violate any anonymous policies?

  • It may not make much of a difference anyway, as such scores are not a standard way of assessing applicants. 2 days ago
  • Only the institution you apply to can make such a determination. We don't make, or affect, those rules. Ask locally.
