I have recently added 3 papers to my google scholar account. When I looked up these papers on scholar and click my name, it directs me to someone else's account (with the same name). I tried contacting this person but I received no reply. I tried to find a way to contact scholar and found this link https://support.google.com/scholar/contact/general but it is disabled for me to use on any sort of account (academia, work email, gmail). Does anyone know the next step, to either contact google or resolve this issue some other way?

Can you be more clear about what help you need from us? It's a little unclear what you're asking us to do. Please see: Why is “Can someone help me?” not an actual question? – EJoshuaS - Reinstate Monica Mar 10 at 14:20

I think you misunderstood what Google Scholar actually means. It's not like you can force somebody to drop a paper from his/her profile. You can add any paper related or not or even have your name on it or not to your profile. It doesn't mean necessarily that if you added a bunch of papers to your profile, you should be the author. I can understand that perhaps this guy with a name exactly as you want to take some advantage by adding your papers in his/her profile but you can't do anything about it. At least, you can't say for sure this is the case here. – Alone Programmer Mar 10 at 14:20

Have you verified your account with an academic email (based on this answer)? – GoodDeeds Mar 10 at 18:14
  • @GoodDeeds Yes, it is verified and public. – Harshit Pandey Mar 11 at 2:32
