I am preparing a paper.I have copy pasted text from several blogs websites in the research paper. I have cited the original website links from where it is copy pasted as it is. I want to know by citing the original URL or link and using same words as on blog is this allowed in publishing paper in academics or this is considered a plagiarism,

Should rephrase the words from the blogs or links in my own words and give citation or reference to original article or I need to necessarily rephrase them in my own words. What is the correct thing to do?

For example if I copy paste some paragraph from this link https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/security-center/security-center-alerts-overview

in my paper is using the same word ok or it is wrong to use the same words.

You have to worry about copyright as well as plagiarism. Only limited copying is permitted under copyright. Citation is needed to avoid plagiarism. But a web citation should include the date of download since things change. – Buffy Mar 16 at 21:51
