I understand that given a single source for a paper or a section that references a single source you do not need to repeat the author's name after the first in-text citation (Doe 1). Subsequent citations would only include the page number (2).

What if the one source for a paper does not have page numbers? It's clear what that source is, so should I leave it at the first in-text citation or even omit them altogether? Or should I repeat the author's name/source title with each reference to the source?
