I'm using British English and Chicago style guide.

I'm quoting a mixture of interview data, and data from videos available on the net, as well as academic literature.

I know obviously the academic literature should be quoted with quotation marks, but in the case of videos on the net and especially my interview data, should speech marks be used because it's direct speech rather than written word, or is this not the case?

Thanks in advance!
