I have been invited for a personal interview for the recruitment of Junior Research Fellow in Mathematics in Space and Application Center.

I read about personal interview questions for jobs in different companies but what is a personal interview for Junior Research Fellow?

Till now whatever institutes I have applied I have been asked to appear for an interview in Mathematics where the professors asked about questions in Mathematics.I dont know what is a personal interview.

Does anyone know what is meant by a personal interview for the recruitment of Junior Research Fellow in Mathematics?

What are the questions that are asked here? Is it the same like any other interview?

If these type of questions are not suited here, please tell where can I ask it?

  • Are you sure they mean "personal" and not "in person"? – astronat Jul 26 '18 at 6:17
  • @astronat; yes the mail sent to me said "Personal Interview for award of Junior Research Fellow" – Learnmore Jul 26 '18 at 6:24

I suspect you may be over-thinking this. You applied for a job. They have invited you for an interview - in person. It's a job interview, not a maths test. They want to know if you would be a good fit for their research team. – Simon B Jul 26 '18 at 9:40
