Attitudes on What is the Measure of an "Incomplete" Undergraduate ThesesThesis?

Backstory: I have submitted my honorsMy undergraduate thesis to my department in the past weeks, and it iswas not what I would honestly consider a complete product. I have received a general attitude from the chair of my department, and my adviser to a much lesser extent, that this is OK.
