Teach students about the Code of Conduct, the Copyright Policy at your university (you must have one right?), the Fair Use Guidelines to the Copyright Law, and Patent rights. Teach them so that, when they move forward next year, they appreciate why they will not post their code on GitHub for the classes that follow. | |
